 Dormy House Information  – Terms of Booking and Conditions

The following details include information and measures we will take to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

Should COVID-19 restrictions be resumed during your stay, please confirm your departure by telephone and email. In return we will refund any outstanding days as soon as possible.In the unlikely event that you or your household feel unwell or show signs of the virus, then we respectfully ask you to get tested immediately and seek medical advice. The result must be emailed to us to ensure were are au-fait with possible virus issues. If the result is positive, you will need to leave straight away providing you can drive or if any third party can drive on your behalf. If it is not possible to leave and you have to self-isolate at Dormy House, then you must pay for all bookings that have to be cancelled, or if no bookings, the relevant weekly rent.

Dormy House has a no smoking policy and the letting period is from Friday to Friday. Guests are asked to arrive from 4.00pm and agree to vacate by 10.00am. 

A key to the apartment will be forwarded prior to your visit.

This agreement confers on you the right to occupy Dormy House solely for the purposes of a holiday short term temporary stay and not as a permanent dwelling, and that you will vacate no later than the date and time specified in in this agreement or otherwise agreed within your letting agreement..

We will take care to ensure that your holiday accommodation is cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival. You undertake to keep the property and all furnishings and fittings in the same state of repair, condition and cleanliness as at the beginning of the let, allowing for reasonable wear and tear. All damage and breakages are the visitors responsibility and the Proprietor must be notified immediately and recompensed in full. Bed linen is provided but guests should bring their own towels. Bath and hand towels are available at £10.00 per guest by special request.

You undertake that only the agreed number of persons, not exceeding 4 in number, unless otherwise agreed, will occupy the property whose details you have disclosed on the booking form. The proprietor reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.

Whilst we have made every effort to ensure that descriptions of the property and details of the accommodation provided are correct, we cannot accept any liability for any injury, loss, damage or expense which arise from any information we supply or in connection with your use of the holiday accommodation or any other holiday facilities.




We regret we are unable to accept children under seven years old or pets

BOOKING YOUR HOLIDAY Please email cjs@calvert-jones.co.uk or telephone 01225 332213 to check whether Dormy House is available for the dates you require and make a temporary reservation. This provisional reservation will be held for up to two working days only, so please send your non returnable deposit together with your name, contact details and number of occupants, together with any other relevant information as soon as possible. The deposit required if the booking is made more than 6 weeks prior to the start of the letting is £135.00 for each week. The balance will be due 6 weeks before the holiday commences. (Non payment of the balance by the due date will be construed as cancellation of the holiday and the proprietor reserves the right to let elsewhere). Full payment is required if the booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. No part of the rental, whether deposit or full payment, is returnable unless an alternative letting is arranged for the date you have booked. If it is let, there is an administration charge of £35.00 per week plus any loss of rental. We suggest you take out appropriate holiday insurance. Any cancellation must be made in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse any bookings and also to cancel any confirmed bookings should any unforeseen circumstances arise and all money will be returned in full.

Access to the apartment is by a short flight of stairs to the first floor and is not recommended for those who may have special needs such as wheelchairs. Outside access is via steps or a ramp. Further details please call 01225 332213 or email cjs@calvert-jones.co.uk
